The things to know about the Globe of Death. Many people who have no clue about our show will tell you more than they should be.
And some of us (Globe owners and riders), also tells a lot of Bu####
So, here is a FAQ and real answers.

IS THE GLOBE OF DEATH EASY TO RIDE? THEY USE G-FORCE, SO IT SHOULD BE EASY?
Ok, we use the G-force as one of three elements. Saying that it's easy because we use the G-force, is like to say, it's easy to walk, because we use gravity.
It takes around a year for a kid to start walking. Imagine every motorcyclist is a kid in the Globe of death. It will take you time to ride in the globe.
Making a couple of circles horizontaly can be done in couples of hours (Not even everyone). Ride a perfect looping (UPside down), or just be able to stop at the right moment, and to be safe to the other riders, will take one year minimum with a EVERYDAY training!!


IT IS REALY DANGEROUS?
Humm, hard to tell. Of course we have less risks than a big gap motorcycle jumper.
Some riders never fall, some fall 10 times a year (they should stop in this case).
You can crash and getting no injuries, and you can crash and be very bad.
We know about three or four killed, and lot of badly wounded people, or paraplegics.


HOW MANY GLOBE OF DEATH RIDERS EXISTS IN THE WORLD?
About 100. We almost all know each others. The biggest Globe of death scene is in Brazil, where this act has been imported by Italian GUIDO CONCH in the 1940's.
For unknow reasons, this show is a cult in Brazil, and some of the very good riders are from this country.


HOW MANY RIDERS FIT IN THE GLOBE OF DEATH AT THE SAME TIME?
That's the new game of today. It has not been pushed by riders themeselves, but by promotors who always wants more. This matter has no senses for us. and we do it only to get a job or for television.Some teams performs up to 9 motorcycles in a 7 metres (22 feets). But they all stays at horizontal and only one is riding up and down. This is easy and possible to any teams.

The number of riders has senses only if at least 5 riders rides looping (UPside down) at the same time and or do lots of manoevers, not just horizontal for a few seconds.
Crashes are very comon when shows are performed with more than 4 riders at the same time.
To this day the world record is held by Danny Varanne and his Infernal varanne riders  , with 6  riders in a 13 feets globe (4 Metres 25) See World record Globe of death HERE.


CAN I BE A GLOBE RIDERS?
Off course. You have to be friend with a team, and be carefull where you get. Because the globe is not an hobby. 100% of the riders do the Globe of death, because they need it to work! Because they love it, or because father was also a rider. But we all do it for a living. So, no one has time to loose, you have to be sure of what you want to do. Accept to travels and stay away from mom for months or years. But find the right people and you will be happy. So, welcome, but knock at the door first.


CAN I BUY A GLOBE OF DEATH AND CREATE A TEAM?
there is enough now. So, We wont tell you yes. First because it cost quite a bunch of money (40.000 Euros around). they because the market is satured, and there is now a lots of teams who are able to do shows, that will take years for a newcomer to do.

Some of these new Globe of death teams, who created their globe, are doing bad publicity to the existing teams.Why? Because they crash a lot, have no insurances, are just not PRO.


I AM A PROMOTER, I WANT TO BOOK A GLOBE OF DEATH, WHAT SHOULD I KNOW?
First, ask for their riders insurance, because YOU will be responsible in case of bad things. Then ask for the LIABILITY insurance, to cover your place and your audience.
Ask for videos, and photos, be sure it's their own videos. Some are using promotion material of the best teams!!
Be sure they will come with the right number of rider, and be sure they just come!! It hapened couples of times that promotors call at last moment more expensive teams, because the one they found never came...
Ask for their papers to see if all is ok. Don't compare only the price, trust first your feeling. You should be right.
